Cultural Café Jabloň

Cultural Café Jabloň was opened in 2000 in order to find and support young creative people not only from Pilsen and the surrounding area. Today, the café holds painting and photography exhibitions, concerts of bands from various music genres, author readings or theater performances. The café is also proud to host several festivals. In September it is usually the festival of international cultures Foreign City (Cizí město), during the fall the literal festival One step "not only" into the poetry (Jednou nohou „nejen“ v poezii) and this year the bright new theater festival On the Jabloň stage (Na prknech Jabloně). You can enjoy regular poetic-acoustic evenings held by the Pilsener Ason-club and music band Stoptime, jazz parties, lectures or discussions about Arab culture. Every month Diecézní charita Plzeň organizes programmes for public - presentations about people who help in the world. Apart from the cultural experience, the intimate atmosphere of the café can also offer pleasant seating (during summer on the terrace), good coffee, cold drinks and something small to eat.
